Have another Tapa puzzle. :)
Made this last night, but wanted to wait for testing. Super happy with it! I thought there was a part that seemed a bit unfair, but testers in the CTC Discord felt that the puzzle was reasonable, so yay 😀
Normal Tapa rules apply. Additionally, no four consecutive cells in any row or column can be shaded.
Yesterday, another speedsetting event took place in the CTC Discord. The idea this time was to construct a Tapa (Palindrome) puzzle, which is a variant seen in TVC, among other places. While I did not participate in the event itself, my goal is to construct such a puzzle eventually.
In the meantime, here's a Tapa puzzle.

Here are two Yajilin puzzles I constructed this evening! My goal in doing this was to force myself to construct easier puzzles (say, difficulty 1 or 1.5 on GMPuzzles), since much of my construction relies on e.g. non-obvious entry points. The first puzzle ended up being a bit too hard in this regard, but the second seems like it fit the desired difficulty.

This was originally designed for another speedsetting event in the CTC server, but I decided I wanted to take some more time on it. Unfortunately, this did not get accepted to GMPuzzles because of the lack of clue symmetry, but I think the solve path flows smoothly enough to give it some more exposure.
After setting a few Penpa puzzles, it's nice to get back into the puzz.link swing of things.
Here's my first Skyscrapers puzzle. Usually, with my debut puzzle(s) in a genre, I'm just focused on getting some intuition about how clues behave, and this one is no exception. While there isn't any visual flair, I think the solve path is pretty smooth.
Again, I was inspired by a Puzzle Ramayan genre and decided to construct my own :) The genre in question this time was "Word Nurikabe", an interesting take on the standard Nurikabe puzzle that has a lot of potential. This puzzle was constructed specifically to post in the AwesomeMath discord server; this is the name of the camp I'll be (virtually) teaching for this summer.
Place the given words in the grid as 'islands', so that the words are readable in orthogonally (horizontally and vertically) connected cells. Different words can't touch each other orthogonally (horizontally and vertically). The remaining cells must form a single connected shape and can't have any 2x2 areas anywhere. Each word has exactly one letter given in the grid.
Another speedsetting event in the CTC Discord! This time, our goal was to construct a Masyu puzzle with an additional "clone" constraint (described below). I, unfortunately, was not able to get my puzzle to resolve in time. However, I decided to work on it after the contest, and I'm quite happy with the result. Many of the people who have tried it like it, too :)
Standard Masyu rules apply. Additionally, the two red regions are clones of each other -- that is, the loop has exactly the same configuration (even up to rotation and reflection) within the two regions.
