Akari is one of the most pleasant and flowy genres to solve, I believe, so it was a no-brainer to include in the Open. This puzzle was originally constructed to be the difficulty 1 Akari, but we decided it was a bit too difficult for that purpose.

Puzzle 149 (Akari)
Hi! Have another Akari puzzle; it's been a while since I last posted one here. Not much else to say about it.

Puzzle 135 (Akari)
I actually made this Akari about a month ago, but I didn't post it at the time for some reason. Found it again and I like it! It has a bit of a tricky start but resolves smoothly. (Also, yay clue symmetry!)

Puzzle 95 (Akari)
Have another 10 × 18 Akari! Not much else to say about it, except that constructing Akari feels more relaxing than constructing other types.

IPC 2021 Puzzles
I got to write a few puzzles for the Indian Puzzle Championship this year! Thanks to Prasanna for allowing me to write puzzles (bold move for a contestant to recommend constructors!).

Puzzle 86 (Akari)
Have another Akari puzzle! Writing 10x10 is quite a different experience from writing 10x18 Akari, IMO; the latter grid gives you a lot of space to play around with lightbulbs, but in a 10x10 you need to use the given space more wisely.
My Akari construction preferences are very much Nikoli-style (that is, smoothness over difficulty), definitely more so than other genres. This one isn't much of an exception.

Puzzle 85 (Akari)
Have a late-night Akari 🙂 Intended to replicate the types of puzzles found on the SmartNikoli app, since I've been solving quite a few of those the past six months.

Puzzle 31 (Akari)
First Akari puzzle! I started dabbling in this genre a few days ago for Puzzle Ramayan purposes; some of the logic is quite nice :)
