I found out today that the Choco Banana I submitted to the WPC got reprinted in the most recent Nikoli issue, which I'm ecstatic about! To celebrate, here's another puzzle. It has a slightly tricky break-in but should be smooth sailing after that.

Hey, it's been a while! I've been posting some puzzles on PuzzleSquare JP lately rather than here; feel free to check them out! This change may or may not be temporary. I know some users like bakpao and Eric used to have both official blogs and twitter feeds which housed different kinds of puzzles; it's possible I'll do the same thing here.
That said, I do want to cross-post one puzzle to this blog as well. A few days ago I went back to the tilted square theme with Guide Arrow. I thought a long time ago that constructing a 13x13 version of the theme would be almost impossible because the arrow clues were too far apart. It turns out I missed a few possible break-ins that would have worked, and I eventually came up with a puzzle.
Then I became ambitious and decided to see if I could make one with a 'hollow' square, rather than a 'filled in' square. Somehow, the answer is "yes".
This is definitely a step up in difficulty from my other Guide Arrows, but I still can't believe it's unique.
